Only a dog up to a maximum of 10 kg is allowed, subject to payment of € 10 per night. For hygiene reasons, the dog cannot be allowed in the breakfast room and restaurant. It is not allowed to leave the dog for a long time.

Arrival and departure

You have access to the room on the day of arrival from 2 pm. We request that you vacate the room on the departure date by 11am at the latest. This way we can thoroughly clean the room for the new guests. Please keep the room in good condition and tidy up when you leave. We ask you to use energy sparingly. This is the only way we can continue to offer you a competitive price.

Reservation and cancellation

You will always be asked to settle the total amount upon arrival. This for practical reasons. If canceled up to 1 day before the arrival date, we charge a 10% administration fee. In case of cancellation less than one day before arrival or if you do not show up (no show), we charge the first night. Any cancellation must be reported in writing (fax / email) to the hotel, in order to avoid misunderstandings. Optionally, you can transfer a payment advance to a reservation to be determined later. If during your stay you wish to leave the hotel earlier than the predetermined and reserved departure date, the hotel has the right to charge you the total amount. These conditions can be discussed in consultation with the hotel management and depend on the period and the situation. A reservation made through an external partner can only be canceled if it has also been canceled with this partner. Non refundable reservations cannot be canceled. When booking it is automatically assumed that you agree with the general terms and conditions.


Defects

We do everything we can to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. Nevertheless, we cannot be held liable for temporary and unforeseen defects to equipment and / or household effects. In that case, we always try to resolve the shortcoming as quickly as possible. Any shortcomings or defects cannot be invoked as a reason for price reductions.

Actions and promotions

By submitting your email address, you automatically authorize the hotel to use it for promotional purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to info@hotelostend.be. Also read all the information that will be ready for you in the room. Promotions and promotions cannot be combined with other prizes offered. Reservations already made cannot be canceled in order to exchange them for a promotion. If this would be the case, the hotel has the right to charge an administration fee of € 50. Prices for packages and promotions are total amounts, they cannot be split. If for any reason you wish to check out earlier, the nights and dinners will be charged at standard rates, with a minimum of 1 night.

Arrangements

Under no circumstances can a refund or compensation be requested if you do not wish to use certain offers of the package. The hotel cannot be held responsible for changes made by extreme parties.

Parking

The hotel cannot be held liable for damage and / or theft of the car parked in the parking garage owned by the company Indigo and our car park in Maria Hofstraat. The requested deposit for the parking card remains the property of the hotel in the event that you do not return the card on the day of departure, you have lost the card or the card is damaged. Lost and found items Lost property is kept numbered by the hotel and up to a maximum of 3 months. After this date, the item will automatically be thrown away and / or donated to charity. The goods are returned at your own expense.
